A 'Knitting for Olive' design - PDF or Printed Pattern 

The Holly Dress works is a combination of elegant design, textural details and inspiration from nature. Bottom-up and worked in the round to the back opening, fastened with a crocheted loop.

The design balances ease of execution with the fun challenge of lace knitting.

Length from shoulder to hem: 35 (39, 43 // 49, 56, 64, 73, 83) cm

Chest circumference: 48 (52, 56 // 60, 64, 68, 72, 76) cm

Sleeve length from underarm to cuff: 11 (13, 14 // 16, 171⁄2, 21, 24, 271⁄2) cm

Yarn: Knitting for Olive Merino or Cotton Merino (250m per 50 gms

fingering-weight yarn; 2 (3, 4 // 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) balls

Needles: 2.5mm & 3mm circular needles & 3mm  double-pointed needles, or size to obtain gauge

Gauge: 28 sts & 38 rows = 10 cm [4"] in st st with 3 mm needles;

32 sts and 36 rows = 10 cm [4"] in Holly stitch pattern after blocking (Charts B) with 3mm needle

Notions: different colour stitch markers (4 different colours), waste yarn or stitch holders, crochet hook for button loop, 1 button
