The Mullet Skirt is a simple-to-make design, with little shaping but a rich, interesting texture that comes both from its slip stitch pattern, and its use of two strands of yarn – one of your choice

Knit in the round from the bottom up, it features a casing for an elasticized waistband. You'll also have fun picking your own colourway combination, either tonal or contrasting, from our selection of yarns.

Sizes: 1-1.5 (2, 4, 6, 8, 10) years

Finished Measurements: waist circumference, with an intended +4 cm ease for an adjustable elasticized waistband: 43 (46, 50, 54, 57, 61) cm; width at skirt edge: approx. 43 (46, 50, 54, 57, 61) cm; length: approx. 20 (26, 31, 36, 41, 46) cm– or desired length

Yarn: 2 strands together: 1 strand of Knitting for Olive Merino or Cotton Merino

(250m per 50g) fingering-weight yarn; 1 (2, 2, 3, 3, 4) balls;

& 1 strand of Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair (225 m per 25g) lace yarn; 2 (2, 2, 3, 3, 4) balls

Needles: 4 mm / US6 circular needle or size to obtain gauge

Gauge: 22 sts and 44 rows = 10 cm [4"] in Mullet stitch pattern with 4 mm/ US6 needle
