A 'Knitting for Olive' design - PDF or Printed Pattern 

A bundle of lace for the littlest ones, with gently scalloped edges, a delicate ripple-effect stitch pattern around the brim and leaf motifs decorating the crown.

Worked back and forth with short row shaping to create earflaps, the Lace Hat continues in the round from brim to crown.

Sizes: preemie (0 - 1, 3 - 6, 12 - 18- months)

Yarn: Knitting for Olive Merino or Cotton Merino fingering-weight yarn 20 (25, 28, 30) gms

Needles: 2.5 mm / US2 circular needle & 2 double-pointed needles for the strings or size to obtain correct gauge

Gauge: 30 sts and 42 rows = 10 cm [4"] in st st with 2.5 mm
